What Goes Into Every Garage
- Diamond grinding. Opens up the concrete so the base coat bonds into it, not on top of it.
- Epoxy base coat. The color layer the flake locks into.
- Full flake broadcast. Flake to refusal across the whole floor, for color depth and a textured, slip-resistant feel.
- Polyaspartic topcoat. UV-stable and chemical-resistant, so it does not yellow in the sun and stands up to oil, fuel and road grime.
Pricing
Decorative Flake is $6.00 per square foot and Stone Flake is $6.50, labor and materials included. A typical two-car garage is around 400 to 500 square feet, so most two-car garages land roughly between $2,400 and $3,250 before any extra prep. Use the calculator for your own size.
