What Grind and Seal Is
We diamond grind the slab to open and clean the surface, then apply a clear protective sealer. There is no color coat and no flake. The floor still looks like concrete, just cleaner and protected.

Pricing
Grind and Seal is $4.00 per square foot with labor and materials included. A 400 square foot garage comes to about $1,600, and a 1,000 square foot shop to about $4,000, before any extra prep.
Grind and Seal or a Flake Floor?
A clear sealer shows the concrete as it is, stains and patches included. If you want to hide old stains and get color, Decorative Flake at $6.00 per square foot covers the whole surface with color and texture.

Grind and Seal Questions
Will Grind and Seal hide stains?
No. A clear sealer shows the concrete as it is. If hiding stains matters, a flake system is the better pick.
Can I upgrade to a flake floor later?
Yes. The floor gets ground again before a flake system goes down.
How long does it take?
